Poles traditionally ask each other whether they holidayed in the mountains or by the sea, the two being at opposite ends of the country. In North Wales, you can do both. On the same day.
Above, the view from the top of the highest peak on the Llyn Peninsula, Yr Eifl (564 m above sea level). If that seems low, bear in mind this peak is but two kilometres from the sea.
