Returning from lunch at the Asia Tasty (the best bowl of fried beef noodle soup in town - a huge portion for 13 zlotys), we came across this rather unappetising sight - a jackdaw feeding from the flesh of a dead pigeon. This is the park running alongside the Hala Mirowska, where the elderly bring mountains of stale bread for the local pigeons.This time last year:
