As
mentioned in April, private coal train operator PCC Rail has invested in some revamped locomotives, based on the frames of the old Soviet-built M62 (nicknamed 'Gagarin' or 'Gagar' by Polish spottaz). Here's a beautiful shot of 311D-08 hauling a rake of 40 empty wagons back to the sidings at W-wa Okęcie along the single, non-electrified freight line that runs parallel to the Warsaw-Radom line between Okęcie and Nowa Iwiczna. The wagons, with six-wheel bogies, are also recent. Nice to see some new investment in rail. In the distance, you can just make out W-wa Jeziorki station.
