I'm often flying into London, but rarely is the weather so nice - especially at this time of year. In the foreground (
left) we have the Houses of Parliament, across the river is the London Eye. The tall, slim tower block, to the left of centre of the frame, is Centre Point, where I worked for 16 years before moving to Poland.
Compare with
this view - same subjects, taken from Westminster Bridge in July. Clicking on the photo to enlarge to full size, eagle-eyed readers will be able to spot Horseguards Parade, Nelson's Column, the National Gallery, the British Museum and King's Cross Station.
