Today Eddie and I made our way to the ski slope from Gruszowiec, retracing our steps from yesterday. The hoar-frost made the forest on the south of Śnieżnica astoundingly beautiful. Above: our way up in the morning, below, our way back down in the afternoon. Again, skiing meant that the pocketable Nokia N95 was the day's camera of choice. It's now two years and four months old, and still performing perfectly. Not many mobile phones even today have a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens.

beautiful photos
Thanks mate!
Those are gorgeous shots! I was looking at cellphones today (desperately need a new one) and here there are some with CCD thingies (whatever they are) that have 12 megapixels. Gotta love Japan. LOL!
Ahhh, lovely photos! I'm pleased to have met another winter enthusiast :-) We have the same kind of weather over here, though it is more overcast and there's an icy east wind blowing. But I love the weather because it reminds me of "St John the Gambler", one of my favourite Townes van Zandt songs: "The winter howled high round the mountain's breast/And the cold of a thousand snows/Lay heaped upon the forest leaves..." :-)
