I woke up early to catch this magnificent sunrise from my bedroom window. Moderate cloud cover makes for optimal skies with nicely varied tones picked out by the rising sun. The weather there, I am informed by family, friends and business colleagues, is uniformly awful. Fields underwater, mould and fungus everywhere.
