A happy second birthday to my blog, launched (significantly) during the penultimate week of Lent 2007. As you can see from the Google Analytics stats, traffic has taken off over the last month, with over 100 visits a day. Not a bad result, given that this time last year it was less than half that. Visitors tend to come from the north west part of the globe, though clustered heavily on Warsaw. London's next, then a fair cross section of towns and cities across Poland, the UK, the US, Germany and Canada.

A resounding Happy 2nd Birthday to W-wa Jeziorki and its creator. An inspiring, intelligent and thoroughly relevant chronicle that illuminates for us and reminds us of the intrinsic value of our existence - the veritable journey of life - in motion.

Hear, hear, I second everthing you said Jonathan. Many, many happy returns Michał!!
p.s. only hope Jonathan doesn't find himself quoted in Pseud's Corner next issue although he is asking for it LOL!
p.p.s. You've got to keep a sense of humour about you haven't you :)
Really great work. Excellent posting. Happy day!!!!
Happy Birthday from Poland's idiot wee brother Lithuania. I like its mixture of transport, glimpses of your own out of town (soon to be suburban) Eden, and expat (or repat for yourself) whimsy.
PS, are you the Mikeinwarsaw you gets very hot under the collar in the Economist's forums?
Congratulations from me, too, and many happy returns! May your blog keep on prospering!
..because this is a place worth coming back to =)
